From Janeth:
On Tuesday, he had his second round of chemo at Revere for 6 hours. Then we came home with the pump, which is the actual chemo, sending him on for 46 hours. They removed it yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. He’s been feeling OK, just a little nauseous. Which we got under control in time! He had a good night managing his pain, his nausea, and stomach. He has some painful gas, and many of those symptoms are common reactions. Today he’s felt very cold, like he has the flu, but he doesn’t. It’s part of the chemo process. Hopefully, he’ll feel better tomorrow. For now, he’s resting and relaxing in bed. Also, yesterday, we called Revere for some questions, and they let us know that his blood tests showed that the tumor markers were down. They didn’t give us any more information regarding that. The doctor will let us know about the next chemo that we will have on the Apr 15th of this month, and it will also be with a medical visit.
From Garrett:
I am doing much better on this second round of chemo. Janet is taking amazing care of me and she had me take different medicines this time that we didn’t take last time. That seemed to help a lot. So today I feel amazing, and yesterday I felt really good. the 4th or 5th day off of the chemo is usually when I start feeling better.
I was able to spend time with my kids and grandkids, that always bring me a lot of joy. Overall God has blessed me with a strong body to heal through all this and we have seen many gifts and blessings along the way.
Thank you Family, for your love, prayers and support
. Our Father is listening and I feel his presence often and Dad has been around in very obvious ways several times as well. Thank you Dad
